Job Summary:
The Electric Foreman is responsible for the oversight of the overhead or underground electric crews.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Supervises internal and contract overhead or underground crews. Plans and coordinates electric construction jobs. Meets and coordinates with developers, contractors, and the public regarding electric construction jobs. Creates work orders, determines equipment and material needs, and inspects completed work of assigned crew members. Completes work orders and reports related to electric construction jobs. Enforces safety adherence to departmental, local, state, and federal regulations.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Seven years of overhead and underground electric utility system experience as a Class A Lineman and at least two years of supervisory experience. Must be certified to work with voltages up to 15kV. Must have a valid Texas Class A CDL Driver's license or the ability to obtain one within 90 days of employment. Must live within 20-miles of the Parker County Courthouse due to emergency and stand-by requirements. Relocation is required within 180 days of employment if outside the 20-mile radius.
