Construction Foreman / Site Leader - Hurricane, WV United Talent Staffing is seeking an experienced Construction Foreman / Site Leader for a growing construction company based in Hurricane, WV. This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for an individual with extensive residential and commercial construction experience who can lead a crew, oversee job sites, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Position Responsibilities Lead and supervise construction crews on residential and commercial remodeling projects Coordinate daily job site activities and ensure projects stay on schedule Perform hands-on carpentry and construction work while leading by example Read blueprints and communicate project expectations to crew members Assign daily tasks and monitor quality of work Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards Coordinate material deliveries and maintain inventory of tools and supplies Complete project documentation, including delivery receipts, inventory logs, and daily job reports Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and management Troubleshoot job site issues and make sound decisions to keep projects moving Maintain clean, organized, and safe work sites Perform other construction and leadership duties as assigned Pay & Schedule Monday - Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (or until the job is completed) Starting at $20.00 per hour, with higher pay available based on experience and qualifications Qualifications Minimum 5 years of residential and/or commercial construction experience Strong background in carpentry, remodeling, or general contracting Previous experience leading a crew, supervising projects, or serving as a foreman Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work independently while managing multiple team members Must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly and perform physically demanding work Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Reliable transportation Willingness to travel to job sites throughout Kanawha and Putnam Counties Must pass a background check and drug screen Clean criminal history required The Ideal Candidate We're looking for a dependable leader who takes pride in their workmanship and is committed to producing quality results.
