CARPENTER NEEDED - FULL-TIME

Family-Owned & Operated Construction Company We are looking for a dependable, hardworking carpenter to join our growing construction company. Experience with construction and basic knowledge of tools is required, but we provide the tools needed for the job. You should be comfortable using common construction tools and, most importantly, please be able to read a tape measure!

PAY:

Based on experience and skill level. We will discuss your experience during the interview and determine pay accordingly. Experienced/skilled carpenters will be compensated based on their skill level.

PAYMENT STATUS

This position is currently paid on a 1099 basis or by cash payment, as applicable. We are also evaluating a possible transition to W-2 employment in the near future and will communicate any changes clearly and professionally if that transition occurs. Our work is never exactly the same from day to day. We specialize in a variety of construction projects, including: Decks & outdoor structures Remodeling and general carpentry Marine construction Docks, piers & waterfront projects And more

Typical Schedule:

Monday-Friday, approximately 8:00 AM-4:00 PM. Because this is construction, weather can sometimes cause delays or schedule changes that are beyond our control. If we need to make other schedule changes, we do our best to communicate with you in advance.

PAYDAY IS EVERY FRIDAY. REQUIREMENTS

Reliable transportation to and from work Strong work ethic and dependable attendance Ability to read a tape measure Basic knowledge of construction tools Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team Comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment Able to work outdoors and handle the Alabama heat Willing to work on different types of projects and job sites Our projects are located throughout Mobile and Baldwin Counties. For jobs requiring longer travel, carpool transportation may sometimes be arranged from Daphne as long as you can meet at the designated location on time. This is construction, so not every job will be indoors or in perfect weather. Some days are hot, some are dirty, and some projects are more physically demanding than others. We are looking for someone who understands the industry, shows up ready to work, and takes pride in what they do. We are a family-owned and operated company and want someone dependable who can become a valuable part of our crew.
