Duties Assist in the preparation and setup of construction sites, including layout and material staging Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as concrete mixers and concrete pumps safely and efficiently Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to ensure accurate execution of tasks Perform concrete forming, pouring, finishing, cutting, and rebar installation to create sturdy foundations and structures Construct formwork for concrete projects and execute metal stud framing for interior walls Install various exterior finishes such as stucco, tile, plastering, and caulking to enhance building aesthetics Conduct heavy lifting tasks while adhering strictly to safety protocols and workplace safety regulations Support the installation of hardscape features like patios or walkways using construction estimating skills for material efficiency Safely operate equipment for concrete cutting, concrete finishing, and concrete pouring to ensure quality results Interpret construction plans and specifications accurately to meet project requirements Experience Prior experience working on construction sites or in related trades such as carpentry or masonry is highly valued Familiarity with construction workplace safety regulations and proper use of hand tools and power tools is essential Knowledge of concrete forming, rebar installation, stucco application, tile laying, and metal stud framing is preferred Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings with confidence to interpret specifications correctly Demonstrated ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining high standards of safety protocol adherence Experience with construction estimating or project support tasks is a plus but not mandatory Strong work ethic with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in a fast-paced environment Embark on a rewarding career where your skills help shape the future!
