Duties Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and organizing tools Perform heavy lifting and manual labor such as moving supplies, equipment, and materials around the site Support concrete work by assisting with pouring, finishing, cutting, and formwork construction Operate hand tools and power tools safely to carry out tasks like rebar installation, concrete cutting, and plastering Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to ensure accurate implementation of specifications Help with metal stud framing, tile laying, stucco application, caulking, and other finishing tasks as needed Follow all safety protocols and regulations related to construction workplace safety to maintain a secure environment for everyone on site Skills Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating processes Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications Experience with concrete mixing, pouring, pumping, finishing, cutting, and formwork construction Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, and other construction equipment safely Knowledge of heavy lifting techniques and proper use of safety gear in accordance with workplace safety regulations Skills in rebar installation, metal stud framing, tile laying, plastering, caulking, stucco application Strong understanding of construction site procedures including safety protocol adherence and working on diverse projects This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to gain comprehensive experience in the construction industry.
