In this role, you will be an essential part of various construction projects, assisting with site preparation, material handling, and the execution of concrete and structural work. Your active participation will help ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to the creation of durable, high-quality structures. Responsibilities Assist with the setup and breakdown of construction sites, including site clearing and material organization Operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery such as concrete mixers and concrete pumps safely and effectively Interpret blueprints and construction plans to support accurate execution of tasks like rebar installation, formwork construction, and metal stud framing Perform concrete pouring, finishing, cutting, and sealing tasks in accordance with project specifications Install rebar and construct formwork for concrete structures following blueprint specifications and safety protocols Support carpentry activities including tile laying, stucco application, caulking, plastering, and other finishing work Follow all construction workplace safety regulations diligently to maintain a secure environment for all team members Conduct heavy lifting and material transportation around the site while adhering to proper lifting techniques Assist with interpreting technical drawings and specifications to ensure precise execution of construction plans Experience Prior experience working on construction projects or in a similar labor-intensive environment is highly preferred Knowledge of construction estimating processes is a plus but not required Familiarity with blueprint reading, technical drawing interpretation, and construction plan comprehension is beneficial Hands-on experience with concrete forming, concrete finishing, concrete cutting, and concrete pouring techniques is advantageous Demonstrated ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery safely on active sites Understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and best practices for maintaining a safe work environment Experience in carpentry tasks such as metal stud framing or tile laying is desirable but not mandatory Ability to perform physical tasks involving heavy lifting consistently throughout shifts Join our team to build a rewarding career in construction!
