Construction Laborer for Live Railroad Track (Darien Train Station) Banton Construction Company Darien, CT Job Details Full-time $37 - $39 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Safe work practices Outdoor work experience Driver's License Driving Full Job Description Construction Company seeks Laborer for Construction Project DOT Darien Train Station • This is a Prevailing Wage Project • At least 3 years' experience performing heavy physical labor Must have experience working around heavy equipment Employee will be required to stand and walk for extended periods of time This position may require lifting in excess of 40 lbs. (activities range from hand-digging to setting precast foundations) Must have valid license and clean driving record. Employees will be subject to random drug testing per FRA regulations Employee will be working along a live railroad track in various weather conditions. Safe work practices are critical as the employee will be frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, high speed trains, precarious places, and loud environments. No phone calls please.
