Ameristar Contracting Group is seeking an experienced, dependable construction worker for a bathroom renovation project at Dover Air Force Base. Applicants must have at least 10 years of verifiable experience in: Carpentry Drywall installation and finishing Acoustical ceiling installation Selective demolition Interior painting Applicants must be able to obtain access to Dover Air Force Base. Excellent pay based on experience. Duties Perform selective demolition of existing bathroom walls, ceilings, finishes, doors, and related components. Complete rough and finish carpentry, including metal or wood framing, blocking, trim, doors, and hardware. Install, repair, tape, and finish drywall to a paint-ready condition. Install and repair acoustical ceiling grid and ceiling tiles. Prepare and paint walls, ceilings, doors, frames, and trim. Follow project drawings, specifications, and supervisor instructions. Protect adjacent areas, control dust and debris, and maintain a clean work area. Coordinate work with plumbing, electrical, tile, and other subcontractors. Follow all company safety and security requirements. Requirements Minimum of 10 years of verifiable commercial construction experience involving carpentry, drywall finishing, acoustical ceilings, selective demolition, and painting. Must provide references or employment history confirming experience. Must be able to obtain access to Dover Air Force Base, including passing applicable background and security screening requirements. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to read basic construction drawings and follow written specifications. Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and construction equipment. Ability to perform physical construction work and lift at least 50 pounds. Must be dependable, punctual, safety-conscious, and capable of producing high-quality finished work. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
Pay:
$50.00 - $60.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
