Job Description:

The company is seeking a Construction General Laborers to assist with daily operations on active construction sites. General Laborers will work alongside equipment operators, foremen, and other crew members to complete site development and construction activities.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Perform construction and site labor as directed by the Foreman or Superintendent. Assist with site preparation, grading, excavation, underground utilities, drainage, and other site development activities. Assist with the installation of pipe, storm drainage, water, sewer, and related underground utilities. Dig trenches and holes using hand tools when necessary. Shovel, rake, spread, and compact dirt, rock, gravel, and other materials. Assist equipment operators and pipe crews as needed. Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials and supplies. Use hand and power tools safely and properly. Set up and maintain work areas, barricades, signs, and other safety equipment. Perform jobsite cleanup and keep work areas organized. Follow instructions provided by supervisors and communicate with crew members. Follow all company safety policies and OSHA requirements. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Report unsafe conditions, incidents, injuries, or damaged equipment immediately. Perform additional construction-related duties as assigned. Must comply with all company safety and employment policies.

Physical Requirements:

Frequently stand, walk, bend, kneel, squat, climb, push, and pull throughout the workday. Regularly lift and carry construction materials, tools, and equipment. Lift approximately 50 pounds or more when necessary. Work on uneven terrain and around active heavy equipment.

Work Environment:

Work outdoors in varying weather and jobsite conditions; Will be discussed with applicant.

Pay:
