OVERVIEW

: We are an Underground Utilities Company with its main headquarters located in Palm Beach County, but work will be completed all over the state and a possibility of out of state work as well. We specialize in the water, sewer, natural gas, and communications sectors. We offer a very competitive benefits package. REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

:

• Class A CDL Required with no automatic restrictions
• Must be DOT compliant-pass drug and alcohol tests, valid medical card, etc.
• Must have a good driving record
• Experience with transporting construction equipment
• Ability for out-of-town work for extended periods of time
• No major criminal issues

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure proper and safe loading, unloading, securing, and transporting heavy construction equipment. Plans best routes for delivery of heavy equipment taking into consideration height, weight, and width restrictions. Manual Labor is also a part of the day to day. Must be able to lift/move at least 50lbs Works with Foreman, Superintendents, and fleet to coordinate heavy equipment relocations from job site to job site and/or rental equipment yards. Ensure that all shipping documentation required to move heavy equipment is readily available for DOT inspection and that appropriate and updated truck permits are available. Complies with all regulatory agencies and company safety directives. Completes thorough load check inspections before each departure, ensuring that load is secure and truck is complaint with all federal, state, and local regulations. Completes and files, in a precise and timely manner, all vehicle pre- and post-trip inspections and log items as required by government agencies. Reports all accidents involving driver, company equipment, and/or private property. Works with route dispatch to optimize fleet utilization and project deliveries. Proactively identifies potential delivery and pick-up problems and alerts relevant parties before they result in service issues. Accurately completes driving ticket documentation. Complies with all regulatory agencies and company safety directives. Contact dispatcher to handle pick-up or delivery issues that may result in customer dissatisfaction or project delays. Obeys all traffic laws and weight limits
