Overview D&D Decorators is seeking an experienced Wallpaper Installer / Wallcovering Specialist who also has hands-on skills in painting, drywall repair, and surface preparation. While wallpaper installation is your primary focus, you will work alongside our painting and repair crews between wallpaper projects to maintain steady, year-round hours. Key Responsibilities Install residential and commercial wallcoverings (traditional pasted, non-woven, vinyl, and specialty materials). Measure, plan layouts, match patterns, and execute clean cuts, seams, and trims around architectural details.

Perform complete surface preparation:

wallcovering removal, patching, sanding, and priming. Support crews on non-wallpaper days with interior/exterior painting, drywall patching, caulking, and minor repairs. Protect client property and maintain clean, safe job sites.

Qualifications Required:

1+ year of professional wallpaper installation experience.

Required:

Practical skills in painting, drywall repair, or related finishing trades. Ability to work independently, climb ladders/work at heights, and provide reliable transportation to our Brunswick location.

Preferred:

Experience with commercial vinyl, grasscloth, stucco/plaster repair, or trim carpentry.

What We Offer Schedule:

Regular 4-day workweek with every Friday off (optional overtime available).

Pay:

$19.00-$26.00/hr or per-roll piece rate (negotiated during the interview based on experience). Weekly pay every Thursday.
