Position Summary We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team and perform general construction tasks under the supervision of a Foreman or Supervisor. This role plays a key part in supporting our underground telecommunications projects. Key Responsibilities Perform general construction duties as directed by Foreman/Supervisor Dig holes and trenches manually using shovels and other hand tools Assist in locating underground fiber Install underground telecom cables Control and direct traffic; set up safety zones with signage, cones, and barriers Conduct daily equipment inspections and report any issues Communicate effectively with team members Qualifications Ability to climb in and out of vehicles and heavy equipment Capable of operating or working around heavy machinery Physically able to perform repetitive tasks involving hands, wrists, feet, head, and shoulders Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions and environments Able to work in congested or remote areas Capable of standing or sitting for extended periods Able to work in confined or elevated/deep spaces Ability to lift and carry 75+ pounds Capable of bending, reaching, and stooping while working Must maintain visual and auditory awareness of surroundings to ensure safety Willingness to travel occasionally for out-of-town assignments Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance 401(k) Retirement Plan Life Insurance Paid Holidays Paid Vacation Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) Statement We are an equal opportunity employer.
