Skillforce is currently searching for reliable and safety-oriented Construction Labor for various projects across the Clinton, IA area. As a Construction Laborer you would perform physical and general support work on construction sites. Assists skilled tradespeople and supervisors with preparing work areas, moving materials, maintaining tools and equipment, and keeping the job site safe and organized. The pay for this position is $34.98/hr Responsibilities include: Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials and equipment. Assist carpenters, electricians, plumbers, masons, and other skilled workers. Prepare construction sites by clearing debris, digging, grading, and setting up work areas. Operate basic hand and power tools as directed. Mix, pour, and spread concrete, mortar, or other construction materials. Assist with measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing materials. Erect and dismantle temporary structures, barricades, and job-site protections. Clean and maintain work areas, tools, and equipment. Follow instructions from foremen, supervisors, and project managers. Follow OSHA, company, and job-site safety requirements. Perform other general construction duties as assigned.

Requirements:

High school diploma, or equivalent A minimum of 1-years experience on a construction site Ability to pass a background check and drug screen Valid driver s license
