Riverbend Services is looking for a dependable, hardworking Residential Construction Laborer to join our construction team. This position will assist skilled craftsmen with residential remodels, renovations, repairs, and general construction projects. The ideal candidate is willing to work hard, learn new skills, take direction, and perform a wide variety of construction tasks. This is a hands-on position that may involve working indoors and outdoors in changing conditions. Residential Construction Laborer's Primary Responsibilities Assist carpenters and skilled craftsmen with residential construction and remodeling projects. Perform demolition and removal of existing materials. Load, unload, move, and organize construction materials. Maintain clean and safe jobsites. Assist with framing, siding, roofing, soffit, fascia, doors, windows, flooring, cabinets, trim, and other construction work. Assist with concrete preparation, excavation, trenching, backfilling, and site work. Use hand tools and power tools safely and correctly. Measure, cut, drill, fasten, and assemble materials as directed. Set up ladders, scaffolding, work platforms, and temporary protection. Perform cleanup and disposal of construction debris. Assist with material pickup and delivery. Help protect existing structures, finishes, landscaping, and customer property during construction. Follow company safety procedures and use required personal protective equipment. Perform other construction-related duties as assigned. Residential Construction Laborer's Qualifications Construction experience is preferred but not required. Willingness to learn residential construction and remodeling skills. Dependable and able to arrive at work on time. Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team. Comfortable working with hand tools and power tools. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the workday. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred. Ability to travel to different project locations as required. Residential Construction Laborer's Physical Requirements This position requires regular physical activity, including: Lifting and carrying construction materials and equipment. Regularly lifting approximately 50 pounds and occasionally heavier materials with assistance. Standing and walking for extended periods. Bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, reaching, and working in confined areas. Working from ladders and elevated work areas. Working around dust, dirt, noise, construction equipment, and changing weather conditions. Compensation Pay is based on construction experience, skills, and demonstrated ability. $15-25 per hour Benefits and overtime opportunities may be available depending on company policy and project workload.
