We are a local business in St Charles. We provide mosquito control, concrete edging, and outdoor lighting services to clients throughout the Chicago suburbs. This is a full-time position for general laborers with experience in general labor, construction, landscaping, field service technician, pest control, landscape lighting, holiday lighting, and roofing.

General Laborer Job Description:

Candidates with the following experience are encouraged to apply: general labor, construction, landscaping, field service technician, pest control, landscape lighting, holiday lighting, roofing Employees install landscape and holiday lights, install concrete landscape edging, and apply pesticides in yards for mosquito control. Employees must be able to provide excellent customer service and possess excellent communication skills. General Laborers are trained to follow follow all state and federal regulations. Laborers are under the direct supervision of the Operations Manager and they work with office personnel daily.

General Laborer Principal Duties:

Provide excellent service through proper job techniques. Communicate with the customer about their project. Properly apply chemicals following all state and federal regulations. Install lights effectively per the project plan. Install concrete edging properly per the project plan. Safely drive to and from the customer locations following all state and federal laws. Follow the assigned route and time line provided by management. Communicate with the office staff any feedback pertinent to the operations. Keep all working areas neat and clean at all times.

General Laborer Requirements:

No experience necessary Valid driver's license Fluent in the English language Bilingual candidates preferred Strong interpersonal skills to speak with co-workers, customers, and other business professionals. Physical health permitting outdoor work in Summer heat and Winter cold Lifting heavy loads of 50-75 lbs for up to 8 hours a day Comfortable working on ladders, roofs, and trees Background checks are possible.
