Kenner, LA Compensation:

$21.03 per hour

Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM sometimes rotating to night shift 5:00pm - 12:00 am A reputable commercial construction company is seeking a skilled worker with experience operating a backhoe and forklift, as well as some general carpentry background. This full-time position offers the opportunity to train on additional equipment over time.

Responsibilities:

Operate heavy equipment such as backhoes and forklifts safely and efficiently Perform general carpentry tasks as needed Perform general labor tasks as needed such as setting up safe work areas near conveyor systems, assisting iron workers and extending water lines to allow for hydroblasting. Support construction and maintenance projects at the New Orleans Airport Follow safety procedures and site protocols

Requirements:

Proven experience with backhoe and forklift operation Basic carpentry skills MUST Have a Valid driver's license Ability to pass the following: Pre-employment drug screen Airport fingerprinting/background check (must have no violent, felony, sexual, or theft-related offenses) Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) check This is a great opportunity to join a reliable team with steady hours and the chance to expand your equipment operation skills.
