Job Summary Laborers support field operations by performing general construction duties, material handling, site preparation, housekeeping, demolition, cleanup, loading and unloading, and other tasks as directed by the Superintendent, Foreman, or Project Manager. Employees may be assigned duties outside of their primary classification when reasonably necessary to support project requirements and provided the employee is properly trained and qualified to perform the work. Responsibilities Report to work on time and prepared to perform assigned duties. Follow instructions from the Foreman, Superintendent, Project Manager, and other authorized company personnel. Perform work in a professional and productive manner. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Protect company property, tools, equipment, materials, and customer property. Follow all company safety policies, project requirements, and applicable laws and regulations. Immediately report unsafe conditions, injuries, property damage, defective equipment, or other incidents to the appropriate supervisor. Treat coworkers, customers, subcontractors, and other project personnel with professionalism and respect. Properly use required personal protective equipment. Maintain required qualifications, certifications, licenses, and training for assigned work. Preferred Qualifications OSHA 10-Hour or OSHA 30-Hour Construction Safety Certification. Experience working on federal, government, healthcare, education, or commercial construction projects. Familiarity with ADA compliance requirements and NFPA standards. Trade school, apprenticeship, or vocational training in carpentry or construction. Forklift, aerial lift, or scaffold certifications.
