Small local Custom Home Builder located in Damascus seeking Part or Full-Time General Labor in upper Montgomery (office and yard) and Frederick and Carrol Counties (Work Sites) for all around help. Hours and Days are negotiable. Job can be structured for a high school student in a work program or college student. This is a very small family company so daily duties range greatly. Normal duties range from cleaning job sites, sweeping, picking up trash, Picking up building materials from suppliers, stacking materials, moving materials, demo, landscaping, mowing, shop organization, vehicle and equipment maintenance/washing, general site labor, material fetching, handling and tracking tools. Starting compensation will range on experience and abilities. As your value to the company increases, so will your compensation.

Candidate Must:

Be reliable with reliable transportation and good driving record. Must follow direction, communicate well in English, organized, work individually, self-motivated. Knowledge and good with tools. Knowledge of construction materials. Ability to lift, carry, push and pull a maximum of 50 lbs. Local applicants highly encouraged. Must have positive and cooperative attitude. Ideal Abilities, not required but would be helpful: Handy Man ability, Carpentry, Painting, Drywall, Operating Small Equipment like a skid steer, excavator, back hoe, trucks with trailers, snow plowing and equipment maintenance. Our work locations are generally in Damascus, northern Mount Airy, New Market and New Windsor. Hours and days negotiable. Pay will increase with abilities. Willing to train.
