Job Description

The City of Ovid is seeking a full-time DPW (Department of Public Works) position with full benefits. Starting pay is $18 per hour. This position requires a State of Michigan CDL Group B License with Air Brakes to be obtained within 30 days of date of employment. This position performs a variety of maintenance and/or construction tasks as part of a work crew.

Including but not limited to:

Landscape maintenance (mowing and weed control), Road maintenance (plowing, salting and road repair), brush and leaf pickup, maintenance on water mains and sewer mains, and general maintenance of city property.
