Job Description
Rector Site & Utility is a site work contractor based in Williamston, MI. We do grading, drainage, storm and sanitary sewer, water main, and athletic field construction across mid-Michigan. We're hiring General Laborers who show up on time, every day, ready to work. This is a full-time, year-round position for the right person. Laborers who prove themselves this fall stay on through the winter. What you'll do:
- Shovel work: hand-digging, hand-grading, raking, and backfilling around pipe crews and equipment
- Help lay pipe and set structures
- Load and unload materials and keep job sites clean
- Opportunity to learn to run equipment What we need:
- Show up on time, every day. This is the big one.
- Valid driver's license (required). Chauffeur's license preferred but not required.
- Reliable transportation to job sites
- Able to do a full day of physical, outdoor work in all weather
- Takes direction and works well on a crew
- Some equipment experience preferred but not required.
Pay:
$18- $22 per hour, depending on experience.
