Job Summary:

Perform tasks involving physical labor at highway and heavy construction projects. Operate various trucks needed to perform HDD work. The position may operate a variety of hand and power tools. Worker may clean and prepare sites, assist and help support excavations and trench safety. Will provide training as necessary. Work area typically southern Minnesota and northern Iowa; occasionally farther. This is a seasonal position.

Qualifications:

Valid driver's license required and safe driving record; CDL Class A required. Must be able to perform a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor in heavy/highway construction projects. Pre-employment drug testing. Must be able to walk, bend, stoop, stand, climb, shovel and lift up to 75 lbs. and perform numerous tasks that require physical agility and manual dexterity Must be able to walk and stand for long periods of time and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. Must be able to work extended hours during the construction season, and willing to travel. Must be able to work outdoors, sometimes in extreme weather conditions. Conduct self in a professional manner at all times in the execution of duties. Must report to work as scheduled. Maintain professional demeanor in all dealings with clients, supervisors and employees.
