$18 - $20/hr PrideStaff is recruiting a Custom Greenhouse Builder, seeking a motivated, hard-working General Laborer for a job site in the Cherokee, NC area. You will work directly on-site with the field installation team to assist with job site setup, cleanup, and the framing and paneling of custom residential and commercial greenhouses.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Material Handling:
Unload, inspect, and organize structural components, glass or polycarbonate panels, and hardware at job sites.
Structural Assembly:
Bolt, anchor, and assemble aluminum/steel framing and base plates according to custom plans.
Panel Glazing:
Safely fit, fasten, and seal glass, polycarbonate, or acrylic panels using weather-stripping, cap stock, and structural silicone.
Tool & Equipment Operation:
Daily use of cordless drills, impact drivers, tape measures, levels, ladders, and basic hand tools.
Site Safety & Cleanliness:
Maintain a clean, secure job site, properly store tools, and follow all safety protocols.
Qualifications and Requirements:
1+ years of experience in general labor, construction, carpentry, or site assembly. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Basic proficiency with power tools and standard measuring equipment. Reliable transportation to local job site. Must be 21 years of age with a valid ID to gain access to job site.
