Job Description

Health insurance Vision insurance 401(k) matching Dental insurance The Reconstruction Technician will assist in the repairs of homes damaged by Fire & Water damage. You will be paired with an experienced team member who will guide you through the process.
Tasks include the following:
rough and finish carpentry, drywall, paint, insulation, basic plumbing and electrical. You will also be trained in basics of water & fire mitigation so you can assist, when needed, the mitigation teams.
Responsibilities:
Perform the quality installation of drywall, trim, paint and other interior construction work Document work progress and communicate with the Project manager Maintain customer and client communications Maintain a clean workspace and vehicle
Qualifications:
Proficient in the following trades: Installation of insulation, drywall and trim to include baseboard, door casing etc. Painting walls, ceiling and trim. Apply hand, knock-down and popcorn textures Installation of crawl space insulation Install vanities, light fixtures, faucets, closet shelving, etc Basic understanding of plumbing and electrical work
Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
Exposure to extreme conditions such as heat Walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing Ability to climb ladders and work at ceiling heights Ability to lift 75 pounds if needed Being comfortable in tight spaces or areas All employees of a SERVPRO® Franchise are hired by, employed by, and under the sole supervision and control of an independently owned and operated SERVPRO® Franchise.
