- Start Week of 9-21-2026 Strategic Partner Solutions (SPS) is hiring Mechanical Installers / Construction Laborers for a pallet racking installation project in Hickory, NC .
We are hiring quickly for an 9-21-2026 start. Qualified candidates will be contacted for immediate consideration. Previous pallet rack experience is NOT required . We're looking for mechanically inclined candidates with construction, ironwork, mechanical installation, carpentry, equipment assembly, fixture installation, or similar hands-on experience. This is a construction/installation position — not a warehouse associate, picker/packer, or material handler job. What You'll Do Assemble and install commercial pallet racking systems Install uprights, beams, bracing, and related structural components Measure, level, position, bolt, and secure rack systems Drill into concrete and assist with anchoring Use impact guns, hammer drills, wrenches, sockets, levels, tape measures, and other hand/power tools Lift, position, bolt, and secure installation components Work from ladders, scissor lifts, and aerial lifts Follow layouts, measurements, and direction from the installation lead Maintain a safe and productive work area Who We're Looking For Experience in any of the following can be a good fit: Construction labor Mechanical installation Ironworker / structural steel installation Commercial or industrial construction Millwright/helper work Carpentry Equipment or fixture installation Mechanical assembly Concrete drilling and anchoring Structural assembly Pallet rack installation No pallet rack experience? That's okay. If you're mechanically inclined, have hands-on construction or installation experience, know how to use tools, and are comfortable working at heights , we want to talk to you.
