Traveling Crew Lead Construction - Athletic Field and Facility Installations HiLine Sports Construction Kernersville, NC Job Details Full-time $25 - $30 an hour 9 hours ago Qualifications Lifting equipment Power tool safety OSHA Outdoor work experience Driver's License Construction plans Blueprint dimension interpretation Power tools Hand tools Full Job Description This is a construction working lead role. You lead the crew and work alongside them, plan the day, assign the work, and keep safety and quality tight. HiLine Sports Construction installs athletic field and facility equipment, netting and pole systems, scoreboards, batting cages, padding, goals, and bleachers, across the Southeast. We're a small, close-knit crew. Your prep, attitude, and work directly affect the rest of the team. Every week's a little different, new site, new project, new people. You're home on weekends.
Travel:
Jobsites within a 6-hour radius, weekly. Home over weekends. Company-paid lodging and daily per diem. Jobsites are typically outside in direct weather conditions. What you'll do Lead and work alongside the crew Plan the day and confirm materials, tools, and site conditions before work starts Coordinate with jobsite super and other trades Hold the crew accountable and help them get better Catch problems early and speak up before they cost time Verify work meets HiLine's standards What we need Construction or field leadership experience Can read plans, measurements, and scopes Comfortable with hand tools, power tools, lifts, and equipment Valid license, clean driving record Willing to travel and stay overnight, work outdoors in any weather Hard worker, plain and simple Can pass background checks for school and public-facility work Specialty sports construction experience isn't required. We'll train you on our systems, netting, poles, and specialty equipment. We can't train dependability, accountability, or ownership.
