Rooftop Landscape Construction Crew Member Gras Lawn - 4.0 Rahway, NJ Job Details Full-time $20 - $25 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Carpentry Drywall Outdoor work experience Construction painting Landscaping Hand tools Full Job Description Job Summary Install planting areas, planters, green roof systems, irrigation components, drainage systems, pavers, and other landscape features as directed. Use hand tools, power tools, and landscape equipment safely and properly. Load, unload, and transport materials on job sites. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all NYC site safety requirements, company safety procedures, and instructions from site supervision. Properly use required PPE and fall-protection equipment. Report unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, or hazards to the supervisor immediately. Perform general labor and other duties necessary to complete rooftop landscape installation projects. Physical Requirements Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Ability to work safely on rooftops, elevated work areas, and construction sites. Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work for extended periods. Ability to regularly lift and carry materials and equipment. Must be able to perform physically demanding landscape installation work safely. Safety Expectations Safety is a condition of employment. Employees must maintain all required certifications and comply with applicable NYC construction safety requirements throughout employment. Employees may not perform work requiring a specific certification or training until the required credentials have been verified and approved. Preferred Experience Experience in any of the following is a plus: Rooftop landscaping Green roof installation Landscape construction Hardscape installation Irrigation installation Planting and soil installation Masonry or paver installation General construction Commercial landscape installation Compensation Competitive pay based on experience, qualifications, certifications, and project requirements.
