Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and energetic Construction Laborer to join our dynamic team, supporting both commercial and residential construction projects. In this role, you will be an essential part of the construction process, assisting with various tasks to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Your hands-on approach and commitment to safety will help drive successful project outcomes while gaining valuable experience in the construction industry. Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites Handle manual labor tasks such as heavy lifting, material transport, and equipment movement in accordance with safety regulations Operate power tools and basic equipment safely, performing routine maintenance and minor repairs as needed Follow all workplace safety protocols, including OSHA safety standards, respiratory protection, climbing safety, and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Support the installation of construction components by interpreting technical drawings and blueprint reading Conduct erosion control activities to prevent soil displacement and environmental impact during construction phases Assist with equipment repair and maintenance to ensure operational efficiency on-site
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position requiring 40+ hours per week. The role requires availability to work Saturdays and occasional Sundays, based on business needs. Weekend work is an expected part of the position. Qualifications Prior experience in industrial or commercial construction environments is preferred but not required; a strong willingness to learn is essential Ability to read blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans accurately Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and OSHA safety standards Physical strength and stamina for heavy lifting, climbing, manual handling, and working in various weather conditions Familiarity with power tools, hand tools, and basic equipment repair techniques Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment through adherence to safety regulations such as respiratory protection protocols Join our team to build a safer, more efficient construction environment while advancing your skills in a fast-paced industry. $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
