Overview Seeking a reliable helper/laborer interested in becoming a trainee for a local contractor at job sites in Nassau and Suffolk counties. Candidates should have a minimum of two years of carpentry, electrical, roofing or other construction experience. Duties Assisting with residential and possible commercial construction on Long Island. Helping with home improvement upgrades and maintenance, under supervision, at various job sites on Long Island. Inventorying equipment deliveries. Maintaining a safe work environment. Maintaining clean and neat work areas. Communicating clearly, and diligently following instructions. The candidate will be responsible for the above plus other associated duties, as needed. Candidates must own a vehicle with a valid license and clean driving record, and be able to drive company trucks. Mileage reimbursement will be provided, where applicable. Important for candidate to arrive on time, have a positive outlook, friendly demeanor, and be enthusiastic about learning new skills. Pay:
