Responsibilities Assist with the installation of various flooring types including epoxy, vinyl, hardwood, tile, and carpet, following technical drawings and construction plans. Prepare work sites by cleaning surfaces, measuring spaces accurately, and ensuring safety compliance on construction sites. Use hand tools and power tools effectively for cutting, fitting, and finishing flooring materials. Handle building materials with manual handling techniques to ensure safety and efficiency during installation or restoration projects. Support epoxy floor installation, floor refinishing, and water damage restoration tasks with precision and attention to detail. Interpret technical drawings and construction plans to ensure accurate material placement and installation procedures. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools, disposing of debris properly, and adhering to safety standards throughout all phases of flooring projects. Experience Prior experience in construction or building material installation is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, drywall, caulking, trim carpentry, fixture installation, and general remodeling techniques is advantageous.
