Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and reliable Subcontractor/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be an essential part of executing a variety of building and renovation projects, ensuring that work is completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to diverse construction tasks, from site preparation to finishing touches, while gaining valuable hands-on experience in the industry. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Assist with the installation of building materials such as drywall, flooring, tile, cabinetry, and trim carpentry components. Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks including cutting, drilling, sanding, and fastening. Support skilled tradespeople with tasks like plumbing, electrical work, masonry, and window or door installation. Follow construction plans and schematics accurately to ensure proper placement and alignment of materials. Maintain a clean and organized work site by removing debris and ensuring safety protocols are adhered to at all times. Use heavy equipment as needed for site preparation or material transport under supervision. Assist with hardscaping projects such as paving, masonry work, or outdoor hardscape installations. Requirements Prior construction experience or familiarity with building sites preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipment. Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and construction plans accurately. Knowledge of safety protocols and commitment to maintaining a safe work environment. Experience with outdoor work environments across various weather conditions. Strong physical stamina with the ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods. Skills in drywall installation, caulking, plastering, fabrication, flooring installation, tile laying or masonry are highly desirable.
