Direct Traffic Control, Inc. is a family-owned and operated company with over 26 years of experience providing traffic control, roadway striping, sign installation, and guardrail services throughout Oklahoma. We are seeking hardworking, safety-minded individuals to join our Guardrail team. Position Summary The Guardrail Laborer assists with the installation, repair, and maintenance of guardrail systems throughout Oklahoma. This position requires frequent travel, outdoor work in varying weather conditions, and physically demanding labor. A CDL is strongly preferred but not required. Responsibilities Install, repair, and maintain guardrail systems Load, unload, and transport materials, tools, and equipment Operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment safely Dig holes and prepare work areas for installation Assist with traffic control and job site safety as needed Follow all company safety policies and procedures Perform other duties as assigned Requirements Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record Ability to pass a background check and drug screen Willingness to travel throughout Oklahoma Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physical labor throughout the workday Ability to work overtime and adjust to changing schedules as needed Commitment to safety and quality workmanship Preferred Qualifications CDL Class A (strongly preferred) Construction, guardrail, roadway, or related labor experience Experience operating hand tools and power tools Experience towing trailers and hauling equipment Compensation Competitive pay based on experience and qualifications Additional compensation may be available for CDL holders Advancement opportunities available for motivated team members How to Apply Applicants who complete our company application will receive first consideration for employment opportunities.
