Job Description
Construction Crew Member - La Pine $28-$38/hour DOE Local real estate development and construction company is looking for an experienced, dependable person to join us as we break ground on a new industrial project in La Pine. We handle most phases of our projects in-house, from site work and concrete through building construction and final improvements. Because we're involved in every phase, the work is always changing — one day might be site work or running equipment, the next concrete or building construction. It keeps things interesting and means you're not stuck doing the same repetitive task every day. Our immediate work will include site development and setting up and pouring several large concrete slabs. From there, we'll move into construction of steel storage/industrial buildings and the remaining site work. Experience in some or all of the following is a plus: General construction Concrete forming, layout, setup and pours Steel/metal building construction Excavation and site work Equipment operation Framing and finish work Reading construction plans and working from plans/layouts Landscaping and final site work You don't need to be an expert in every trade. We're looking for someone with good construction experience who knows their way around a jobsite, can read plans, solve problems, work independently when needed, and is willing to jump into different phases of a project. We're a small local real estate development company with a great work environment. We work hard, keep projects moving, and try to keep work enjoyable. You'll work directly with the owners and a small crew and have the opportunity to be involved in many different parts of the build. This project should provide a few months of work, with the possibility of ongoing work for the right person.
