Job Summary We are looking for a dependable and experienced Skilled Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate has hands-on construction experience, takes pride in quality workmanship, works well with others, and can safely perform a variety of tasks on residential and/or commercial construction projects. This is a hands-on position for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and is willing to take direction while also being able to work independently. Responsibilities Perform general construction and skilled labor tasks as assigned Assist with framing, drywall, flooring, painting, demolition, concrete, and other construction activities Load, unload, carry, and organize construction materials and equipment Operate hand tools and power tools safely and properly Assist skilled tradespeople with various construction projects Measure, cut, and install materials accurately Perform job-site preparation, cleanup, and maintenance Follow project plans, instructions, and safety procedures Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment Identify and communicate job-site issues or material needs to supervisors Work efficiently while maintaining a high standard of workmanship Perform other construction-related duties as needed Qualifications Previous construction experience required Strong knowledge of basic construction practices and tools Ability to safely operate hand and power tools Ability to read and understand basic measurements and instructions Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong work ethic and positive attitude Ability to lift and carry construction materials and equipment Ability to work outdoors and in various weather conditions Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship

Preferred Qualifications:

2+ years of construction experience Experience in multiple areas of construction Valid driver's license Physical Requirements This position requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, climbing, lifting, carrying, and working with tools and materials. Candidates must be able to lift upwards of 50 pounds and safely perform the physical requirements of construction work.
