• (Grade-1
• no Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required.

Incumbents will perform a variety of general duties for the daily operation of the Town's Highway Department. Candidates will be responsible for a variety of laboring tasks including grounds keeping, landscaping, carpentry, field maintenance, panting and snow removal etc. Ideal candidate will also have experience in plumbing and/or masonry. Work will be performed inside and/or outside in all weather conditions.

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Graduate or GED Equivalent; MUST possess a Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL). Ability to lift 25-40 pounds; flexibility to work additional hours during emergencies or storms; must pass a pre-employment physical exam and drug test; working knowledge of the hazards and necessary safety precautions in construction work; ability to understand and effectively carryout written and oral instructions; and have skills in communicating and working with fellow employees.

Salary:

$51,287 Annual Salary per year

• After 6-month Probationary Period Salary increases to $53,043
• Opportunity for Overtime
