Monument Manufacturing & Sandblasting Pay:

$13.00-$14.50 per hour, depending on experience

Job Type:

Full-Time We are seeking a dependable Shop Laborer to join our monument company. This position is hands-on and involves assisting with the production, preparation, handling, and installation of monuments and memorial products. Our company performs our own monument sandblasting , so applicants must be comfortable working around industrial machinery, sandblasting equipment, dust, and other shop equipment. Previous experience is helpful but not required for the right applicant. Job Duties & Responsibilities Assist with the preparation and production of monuments and memorial products Operate and assist with sandblasting equipment Safely operate shop machinery and hand tools Prepare monuments for lettering, sandblasting, finishing, and installation Load, unload, move, and properly position monuments and materials Assist with monument installation and delivery when needed Clean and maintain the shop, equipment, and work areas Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean and organized work environment Handle materials and equipment safely Assist other employees with various shop and production duties Perform physical labor, including lifting, carrying, bending, standing, and working outdoors when necessary Follow instructions carefully and complete assigned work in a timely manner Perform other duties associated with monument production and shop operations Qualifications Must be dependable and have a strong work ethic Must have reliable transportation to and from work Must be comfortable working around machinery and sandblasting equipment Must be willing and able to learn monument production and sandblasting procedures Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions Must be able to work safely and responsibly around equipment Ability to perform physical labor and lift materials as required Forklift experience or certification is a plus Previous shop, construction, manufacturing, landscaping, masonry, monument, or equipment experience is a plus Must be willing to submit to and pass a drug test Compensation & Benefits Starting pay: $13.00-$14.50 per hour , depending on experience and qualifications.
