Marine Construction Worker King General Marine Division Full-Time | Bristol, VA | Pay Based on Experience King General Contractors, Inc. is seeking skilled, reliable, and hardworking construction workers for immediate openings in our King General Marine Division . This is a hands-on construction position working as part of a marine construction crew. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, can work safely as part of a team, and are willing to learn and take directions from experienced supervisors. Carpentry experience is preferred. Welding experience is a plus. Construction experience is strongly preferred. What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will: Have construction experience, preferably including carpentry Be able to follow instructions and directions carefully Always conduct themselves in a professional manner Be dependable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team Be able to read and accurately use a tape measure Be comfortable working around and on the water Must be able to swim Be willing to perform a variety of construction and general labor duties Take safety seriously and follow company and jobsite safety requirements Be willing to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities

Skills & Experience Preferred:

1+ year of construction experience Carpentry experience Marine construction experience Welding experience Ability to read plans and measurements A willingness to learn and a strong work ethic are important. We are willing to consider candidates with different levels of experience for the right fit. Requirements Reliable transportation Valid Driver's License Ability to pass a 12-panel pre-employment drug test Must have required personal protective equipment ( PPE ), including: Steel-toed boots Hard hat Other PPE as required for the jobsite Must be able to swim Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions Ability to follow instructions and work safely around heavy equipment, tools, and other crew members Pay & Benefits Pay is based on experience and qualifications.
