Duties Assist with the preparation and setup of construction sites, including unloading materials and equipment Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as cutting, drilling, and assembling structures Support concrete pouring, finishing, and cutting activities, ensuring smooth application and surface quality Install rebar, formwork, and metal stud framing according to blueprints and schematics Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to accurately execute construction plans and specifications Perform heavy lifting of materials like concrete blocks, lumber, or steel components while maintaining proper safety protocols Maintain a clean and organized work environment by clearing debris, securing tools, and adhering to safety regulations Requirements Prior experience working on construction sites or in related trades is preferred but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential Basic mechanical knowledge and familiarity with construction estimating are advantageous Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately Knowledge of construction safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, concrete mixers, and concrete pumping equipment Skills in masonry, plastering, stucco application, tile laying, flooring installation, or restoration work are a plus Physical ability to perform demanding tasks such as heavy lifting, standing for long periods, and working at heights or in confined spaces This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to build a career in construction.
