Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Laborer in Wood Manufacturing for Pallet Material and Log Homes! In this vital role, you will be an essential part of the production process, working hands-on with wood materials and woodworking machinery to craft high-quality products. Your energy and attention to detail will help ensure efficient operations, safety, and excellence in every project. Responsibilities Operate hand tools and power tools for woodworking, including saws, drills, sanders, and other equipment to cut, shape, and assemble wood components Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute manufacturing tasks Assist with the setup and maintenance of woodworking machines and fabrication equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation Perform some lifting of wood materials, framing components, and finished products while adhering to safety protocols Support tasks such as stacking lumber, building pallets, building wood boxes, constructing parts for boxes, log home production line labor Maintain a clean and organized work environment by properly storing tools and materials; follow safety procedures for power tool use and general site safety Collaborate with team members on projects involving the building and constructing of parts, materials and log home production. All inside work, Full-Time at 40 hours per week Qualifications Prior experience as a laborer and/or production line laborer in manufacturing is a plus Familiarity with woodworking machines and hand tools used in wood manufacturing Knowledge of construction site safety practices related to power tools and lifting Ability to work and adapt to plans, drawings and deadlines Experience with various construction trades is a plus Strong physical stamina for manual labor tasks including lifting heavy materials and standing for extended periods Basic understanding of construction materials like dimensional lumber, wood pallets, wood parts and overall wood construction Join us if you're eager to build your career in wood manufacturing and log home production!
