The Site Director position operates an off-site CTC site requiring analytical, conceptual, and human relations skills,. The Site Director autonomously supports CTC academic programs for local military and civilian communities while managing financial, fiscal, and human resource responsibilities.
Education and Experience :
Bachelor's Degree from a nationally, regionally, or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education required. Master's degree from a nationally, regionally, or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education preferred. Three years full time wage earning experience in administration (preferably in adult education or adult training programs) to include supervision and management experience. Preferred experience in working with a military Education Center.
Knowledge Skills and Ability :
Knowledge of computers and MS Office program including MS Word and MS Excel required. Knowledge of email and internet based programs required. Demonstrated leadership ability to supervise employees (both faculty and staff) of varying backgrounds, educational levels, and levels of expertise required. Ability to interact effectively with the public, military community and students. Demonstrated written and oral communication skills. Demonstrated problem solving skills and decision making capacity. Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines and multi-task. Ability to maintain confidentiality of all information, safeguarding personal data, and properly disposing of documents containing privacy information. Knowledge of budgets and budgeting process. Possess a working knowledge of marketing to provide adequate visibility of the college and the college's programs/courses.
Essential Functions:
Supervision and coordination and adherence to all administrative, instructional and contract services at site(s) to include any sub-site within the annual budget. Timely submission of personnel documents, payroll, invoices, Term documents and reports, and other reports and documents that may be required by Main Campus, Military, State, Veterans, or other agency. Prepares site budget and monitors all expenses to include purchasing of supplies, and services, and equipment, furniture and other capitol expenditure items to ensure that the site operates within the guidelines established by the annual budget. Promote the college and programs through various media. Coordinates activities with Site Government officials, and other Contractor employees at Site(s). Coordinate and approve College schedules for the site(s) based upon the needs of the students. Enter schedules in the Central Texas College computer system. Monitor enrollment and take appropriate action regarding adding or cancelling classes as appropriate. Recruit, hire, train and evaluate employees (including staff and faculty) in accordance with established policies and procedures. Provide guidance to current and prospective students on enrollment matters to include degree plans, course scheduling, financial aid, veteran's assistance, tuition assistance, etc. Other duties as may be assigned by Dean, Continental and Fort Hood Campuses.
