Associate Construction Project Manager Chenhall Staffing | Arizona / New Mexico (near Navajo Nation) | Full-time Launch Your Construction Management Career — Supporting Schools on the Navajo Nation This is a hands-on, entry-level opportunity to support real school construction and facilities projects on federal contracts serving the Bureau of Indian Education (BIE). You'll work alongside experienced Senior and Advanced Construction Project Managers, learning the ropes while making a direct impact on schools within and around the Navajo Nation. No need to already know Maximo or Primavera P6 — we'll teach you. What matters most is your willingness to learn, your organizational skills, and your ability to travel regularly to school sites. What You'll Do Support Senior Project Managers in tracking project scope, schedule, and budget Serve as a point of contact for assigned BIE schools, coordinating with facility managers and school leadership Help collect field data, verify facility conditions, and support project scope development Assist with reviewing designs, drawings, RFIs, and submittals Join site visits and inspections, documenting progress and conditions Keep project data and files organized and up to date in Maximo and other systems Support cost estimating, market research, and reporting for project planning What You'll Bring Associate's degree (or better) in construction management, engineering technology, architecture, project management, or a related field 1-3 years of relevant experience — internships and academic project work count Basic understanding of construction terminology, materials, and installation methods Comfort with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; familiarity with or willingness to learn Maximo and RSMeans/CostWorks Strong written and verbal communication skills A valid driver's license and the ability to travel frequently to BIE school sites Must live within or close to the Navajo Nation to effectively support assigned schools Travel Frequent travel to BIE school sites within and near the Navajo Nation, with occasional nationwide travel. Why This Role This is a genuine foot-in-the-door role for someone starting out in construction or facilities management — you'll get direct mentorship from senior project managers, exposure to real federal construction projects, and the kind of field experience that's hard to get straight out of school.

Pay:
$60,000.00 per year
