We are seeking an experienced ECE Site Supervisor who pairs strong compliance mastery with a genuine passion for mentoring teachers, nurturing young minds, and building authentic community partnerships. The Opportunity As our Site Supervisor, you will partner closely with the Owner/Program Director to guide our center's operations, lead high-quality early childhood curriculum development, and foster an environment of warmth, safety, and operational excellence. You will serve as the backbone of our educational quality, coordinating staff development, overseeing daily program compliance, and serving as our primary liaison for key community partnerships.
Develop, approve, and oversee developmentally appropriate curriculum goals that align with center philosophy. Provide monthly in-service trainings, conduct weekly collaborative staff meetings, mentor teachers in classroom management, and administer 90-day and annual performance reviews.
Program Compliance & Quality Systems:
Ensure total alignment with Title 22, Title 5, and CCTR regulations. Oversee classroom assessments, DRDP progress charts, ASQ screeners, and
ITERS/ECERS
quality standards while ensuring licensing documentation remains current.
Agency & Partnership Liaison:
Act as the primary coordinator with Foothill Family Early Head Start by communicating regularly with program coaches, attending partner sessions, and ensuring timely submissions of lesson plans, home visit logs, and developmental screenings.
Program Operations & Nutrition Administration:
Manage CACFP meal documentation, including daily production records and monthly claim preparation. Assist with monthly billing, enrollment files, attendance tracking, and supply/inventory oversight.
Family Engagement & Classroom Support:
Oversee semiannual parent-teacher conferences, open houses, and family communication. Step in seamlessly to model teaching best practices or support classroom coverage whenever needed. What You Bring (Qualifications & Requirements)
Required Permit:
Valid California Child Development Site Supervisor Permit (or Program Director Permit) issued by the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing (CTC).
Education & Units:
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Child Development, Early Childhood Education, or a related field, including: 24 units in Early Childhood Education / Child Development (with core courses) 6 units in ECE Administration 3 units in Infant & Toddler Care 2 units in
Adult Supervision Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of verified Site Supervisor experience, alongside 5 or more total years of experience working directly in a licensed child care and development setting.
Regulatory Expertise:
Working knowledge of Title 22 regulations, California State Preschool / CCTR Title 5 requirements, CACFP procedures, and
DRDP/ASQ
assessment tools.
Physical & Environmental Agility:
Ability to perform light physical tasks, including lifting and carrying children weighing 14 to 30 pounds, bending, crouching, and kneeling, while maintaining a calm, positive demeanor under pressure.
