As Atomic continues to expand its geographic footprint and operational capabilities, we are seeking a Site Lead to support daily operations at our customer's location.
Position Summary:
This position will serve as the primary onsite Atomic representative during assigned shifts and works closely with the Area Manager to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations. The Site Lead is responsible for coordinating daily activities, supporting drivers and loading operations, monitoring site performance, communicating with customer representatives and assisting with operations issues as they arise. This position does not currently have any direct supervisory responsibility but is expected to provide leadership, guidance and operations support to employees assigned to the site. This is an hourly position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Serve as Atomic Transport's primary onsite representative during assigned shifts. Support the Area Manager with daily operational activities and customer expectations. Coordinate and monitor loading, unloading, and transportation activities. Assist drivers with operational issues, scheduling concerns, and day-to-day support. Maintain regular communication with customer representatives and internal Atomic leadership. Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and customer requirements. Conduct routine inspections of equipment, work areas, and operational processes. Identify operational challenges and communicate recommended solutions to management. Complete required reports, logs, and operational documentation accurately and timely. Assist with incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions when necessary. Support onboarding and training efforts for new drivers and employees assigned to the site. Maintain a professional working relationship with customers, vendors, and employees. Respond to operational issues during assigned shifts and escalate concerns as appropriate. Perform other duties as assigned.
Schedule:
Wednesday-Saturday (6:30pm-5am) Sunday-Wednesday (6:30pm-5am) Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Previous experience in transportation, logistics, waste, construction, industrial operations, or a related field preferred. Prior experience coordinating operations, leading teams, or serving in a lead role preferred. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and make sound operational decisions. Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and email. Ability to maintain professionalism while working with customers and employees. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Understanding of transportation and operational processes. Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail. Ability to effectively communicate with employees, customers, and leadership. Ability to identify issues and implement practical solutions. Commitment to safety, compliance, and customer service. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Ability to work outdoors and in varied weather conditions. Ability to climb, bend, stoop, kneel, and reach as needed. Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely navigate active industrial and transportation environments. Work Environment Industrial and transportation-related environment. Exposure to moving equipment, vehicles, dust, noise, and varying weather conditions. Pay:
$28.00 - $33.00 per hour
