About the Role JCS is seeking an experienced, results-driven Restoration Reconstruction Department Manager to lead and grow our reconstruction division. This role is responsible for overseeing the estimating and contract signing process, overseeing projects from handoff through completion, managing departmental profitability, developing a high-performing team, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with strong construction and restoration knowledge, financial management skills, and the ability to drive accountability, operational efficiency, and profitable growth. Key Responsibilities Project & Operations Management Team Leadership & Development Financial & Departmental Performance Cross-Department Collaboration Systems & Process Improvement Customer Experience & Quality Control Qualifications Experience in restoration estimating, reconstruction, construction management, or a related field. Proven leadership experience managing project managers, field teams, and subcontractors. Strong understanding of project budgets, job costing, scopes of work, change orders, and construction workflows. Experience managing financial performance, gross profit margins, and operational metrics. Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and customer service skills. Proficiency with project management software and digital documentation tools. Valid driver's license and ability to visit active job sites as needed.

Preferred:

Restoration industry experience, familiarity with Xactimate and DASH, and experience managing a departmental P&L.
