In this pivotal role, you will lead and oversee multiple construction projects across diverse locations, ensuring that each project is executed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Your expertise will drive project success from inception to completion, coordinating teams, managing schedules, and maintaining strict adherence to safety and regulatory standards. This is an exciting opportunity for seasoned construction professionals eager to bring their management skills to a variety of challenging projects nationwide. Responsibilities Lead and manage on-site construction activities across multiple project sites, ensuring timely execution and quality standards are met. Coordinate project schedules using construction management software such as Procore, or similar tools to optimize workflow and resource allocation. Review and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications. Supervise and manage construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors, fostering a collaborative team environment while maintaining safety compliance. Oversee site safety programs in accordance with OSHA regulations and federal construction safety standards; conduct regular safety audits and enforce safety protocols. Monitor project budgets, perform cost estimations, and manage contracts to ensure financial targets are achieved without compromising quality or safety. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure adherence to construction regulations, quality control standards, and project schedules; utilize tools like Ohmmeter for electrical testing as needed. Review construction schedules for coordination of activities such as site logistics, material deliveries, and subcontractor work sequencing. Manage communication with clients, architects, engineers, and internal teams to provide updates on progress, challenges, and solutions. Experience Proven experience as a Traveling Superintendent or similar role in commercial construction management with a strong track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Extensive knowledge of heavy civil or commercial construction processes including blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawing review. Proficiency with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or equivalent platforms for scheduling and document control. Demonstrated ability to supervise diverse teams on active construction sites while maintaining high safety standards in accordance with OSHA and federal regulations. Strong understanding of construction estimating, budgeting, contract management, and quality assurance practices. Hands-on experience with construction site safety management programs; familiar with OSHA guidelines and federal safety regulations specific to heavy civil or commercial projects. Excellent managerial communication skills with the ability to lead teams effectively while managing client expectations. Construction scheduling expertise including coordinating trade activities and managing project timelines efficiently. Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately and oversee the implementation of complex schematics in the field.
