Contract only — no full-time conversion Key Responsibilities Lead construction projects from design development through execution, commissioning, and final handover. Coordinate design-build teams, contractors, vendors, and stakeholders across multiple concurrent projects. Manage MEP systems, including HVAC, electrical infrastructure, process utilities, RO/DI water systems, and laboratory facilities. Oversee project budgets, cost control, forecasting, scheduling, risk mitigation, and change orders. Ensure compliance with construction safety standards, quality requirements, permitting, and regulatory approvals. Manage onsite construction activities in occupied buildings and active campus environments. Coordinate testing, commissioning, punch-list resolution, as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and project closeout. Required Skills Construction Project Management and Design-Build Delivery Capital Projects Management MEP Coordination — HVAC, Electrical, and Process Utilities Laboratory, R&D, or Technically Complex Facility Construction Project Planning, Scheduling, Budgeting, and Cost Control Contractor and Vendor Management Risk Management and Change Order Management Commissioning, Closeout, and Handover Occupied Building or Active Campus Construction Procore, Primavera, Microsoft Project, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Minimum Qualifications B.E. in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related discipline. At least 6-8+ years of construction project management experience. Proven experience delivering design-build and capital projects throughout the project lifecycle. Strong MEP coordination and budgeting/cost-control experience. Experience in laboratory, R&D, life sciences, semiconductor, or other technically complex facilities. Ability to work onsite in Milpitas, California.

Pay:

$55.00 - $60.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
