Construction Site Supervisor Rushmore Group LLC Oakhurst Share Save Job Apply for This Job What Youll DoSite Oversight & Quality ControlServe as the primary on-site presence across multiple active residential construction projectsMonitor subcontractor work daily to ensure it meets plans, specs, and Rushmores quality standardsVerify that the correct materials, fasteners, and methods are being used at every stage down to the detailsConduct quality control walkthroughs before work advances to the next tradeIdentify deficiencies early and work with subs to resolve them before they become bigger problemsPlans & Code ComplianceRead and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specsTranslate plan requirements into clear on-site direction for subcontractorsEnsure all work complies with current NJ residential building codes and inspection requirementsCoordinate with inspectors as needed and flag any compliance issues to the PMSubcontractor CoordinationConfirm subcontractor arrival dates and sequencing in alignment with the master scheduleMaintain a clear understanding of each subcontractors contracted scope and flag any attempts to upsell, expand scope, or substitute materials outside of what was agreed escalating to the PM when neededHold trades accountable for scope, timeline, and workmanship while on siteCommunicate issues, delays, or scope conflicts to the PM promptlyPunch Lists & CloseoutMaintain and execute rolling punch lists throughout the buildEnsure punch list items are completed in a timely manner ahead of each phase transition and final closeoutPrepare site for handover in coordination with the PMWhat Were Looking ForMinimum 3 years of hands-on experience in residential construction youve worked in the field and know how a house goes togetherStrong working knowledge of NJ residential building codes and construction best practicesAbility to read a full set of construction drawings and translate them to on-site executionDetail-oriented you notice when somethings wrong before it gets covered upStreet-smart about the trades you know the games subs can play and you dont get taken advantage of on siteStrong communicator who can hold subcontractors accountable without burning relationshipsValid drivers license and reliable transportation (role requires travel between active job sites)Someone who takes pride in doing things the right way not just the fast wayCompensation & Benefits65-80k + performance bonus, commensurate with experienceMileage and gas reimbursementPTO recblid r9ofdu9tea6xsre5ld66x41xzwk8fy
