Following the mitigation phase (water, fire, or mold), you will be the face of the company, responsible for estimating, scheduling, and managing the full reconstruction of residential and commercial properties. Your goal is to provide a seamless "like it never even happened" experience for our clients while maintaining strict profitability and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities Estimating & Scope:
Utilize Xactimate, Docusketch, or Symbility to create accurate, professional estimates for insurance approval.
Project Oversight:
Manage the full project lifecycle from initial contract signing to final walkthrough and "Certificate of Completion."
Subcontractor Management:
Source, vet, and schedule high-quality trades (plumbers, drywallers, flooring installers, etc.) and ensure they meet our standards.
Client Communication:
Act as the primary point of contact for homeowners and property managers, providing "Golden Rule" customer service and frequent updates.
Insurance Coordination:
Work directly with adjusters to negotiate scopes of work and supplements to ensure the project is funded correctly.
Budgeting:
Monitor job costs to ensure target profit margins are met without sacrificing quality.
Preferred Qualifications Experience:
3+ years in Construction Project Management, preferably within the Restoration industry.
Software Proficiency:
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Xactimate is preferred.
Local Knowledge:
Knowledge of applicable California building codes and experience working with permitting and inspection requirements throughout San Diego County, including both County and incorporated city jurisdictions, is preferred.
Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written skills; you must be able to explain complex construction processes to stressed homeowners.
Licensing:
Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
Compensation & Benefits Competitive Salary:
$70,000-$80,000 base salary plus profit sharing.
