Job Summary We are seeking a Construction Superintendent for a direct hire opportunity in West Covina, CA. This role is ideal for a hands-on construction professional with 3-5 years of experience coordinating field operations, managing subcontractors, supporting project schedules, and maintaining safe, organized job sites. The Construction Superintendent will work closely with Project Managers, subcontractors, trade leads, and field teams to ensure residential and commercial construction projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to high quality standards. Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate on-site construction activities, including materials, equipment, inspections, subcontractors, and trade work to support project schedules.
• Manage daily job site operations while ensuring work is completed safely, correctly, and in alignment with project plans and specifications.
• Review construction documents, drawings, specifications, and manufacturer data for completeness, accuracy, and constructability.
• Conduct on-site project meetings with subcontractors, trade leads, and project team members to communicate priorities and resolve field issues.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized job site for workers, visitors, and project stakeholders.
• Complete daily logs, track site progress, document issues, and report updates to management as needed. Compensation and Benefits
• Salary range: $60,000 to $70,000 per year.
• Direct hire opportunity.
• Schedule may include normal business hours, after-hours work, nights, and weekends as project needs require. Required Qualifications and Skills
• Coordinate and manage on-site construction activities from mobilization through completion.
• Support project timelines by ensuring labor, materials, equipment, inspections, and subcontractor work are properly scheduled.
• Manage job site safety, quality control, daily communication, and field documentation.
• Work closely with Project Managers and subcontractors to deliver projects on time and to quality standards.
• 3-5 years of construction superintendent, field supervision, or related construction management experience.
• Current driver's license.
• Insurable driving record.
• Ability to successfully complete a 10-year background screening.
• Ability to work normal business hours as well as after-hours, nights, and weekends when required.
• Strong understanding of construction plans, specifications, field coordination, and job site operations.
• Ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate multiple trades on active construction sites.
• Strong organizational skills, including time management, prioritization, delegation, multitasking, cleaning, and quality control.
• Solid communication skills with the ability to lead site meetings and coordinate with project stakeholders.
• Safety-focused mindset with the ability to enforce company safety policies and support safe work practices. Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with residential and commercial or office construction projects.
• Familiarity with local inspection coordination and permitting processes.

• OSHA 10, OSHA

  30, or similar construction safety training.
• Experience maintaining daily field logs and progress documentation.
