Compensation:

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Civil Project Manager with a proven background managing DOT bridge construction. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on project leader who understands both field operations and financial performance and wants the autonomy to guide projects from startup through closeout. Why This Opportunity Stands Out Manage high-impact heavy civil and bridge projects Work closely with experienced superintendents, engineers, and field teams Take ownership of project financials, schedules, subcontractors, and client relationships Company vehicle provided Medical, dental, and vision premiums fully paid by the company Company-paid life insurance 401(k) matching PTO/FTO Streamlined one-and-done interview process What You'll Do Manage approximately one to four projects based on size and complexity Lead and support Project Engineers and, when applicable, other Project Managers Build strong working relationships with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and project partners Partner with the Safety Manager and Superintendent to develop and enforce project safety plans Manage job costs, budgets, billing, change orders, invoice coding, and monthly financial forecasting Develop and maintain CPM project schedules using Microsoft Project and/or Primavera Coordinate with Superintendents to plan manpower, establish milestones, and maintain project efficiency Prepare subcontractor scopes of work and support subcontract and purchase agreement administration Process RFIs and distribute updated plans and approved shop drawings Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with contract requirements Coordinate upcoming material, subcontractor, supplier, and equipment needs Monitor project performance and identify risks such as extended rentals, back-charges, schedule delays, and budget fade Assist with estimating and prepare pricing for project change orders Ensure timely project startup, execution, and closeout Maintain compliance with company safety policies and OSHA standards What We're Looking For At least five years of project management experience in heavy civil construction Required experience managing DOT projects, specifically CDOT work Required bridge construction experience Strong understanding of project budgets, job-cost reporting, billing, and forecasting Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, technical procedures, and government regulations Experience preparing RFIs, reports, project correspondence, and contract documentation Ability to develop, update, and maintain CPM schedules using Microsoft Project and/or Primavera Excellent documentation, recordkeeping, communication, and leadership skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and email Current, valid driver's license Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related discipline Experience using Viewpoint construction management software If you are an experienced heavy civil Project Manager who understands CDOT bridge construction and wants greater ownership of project performance, we encourage you to apply. #
