Job Description As a Ground Up Superintendent | New Britain, CT, you will: Oversee all field operations from earthwork and foundations through project turnover. Manage subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and site personnel. Develop and maintain project schedules to ensure milestones are achieved. Conduct daily site walks focused on safety, quality, and productivity. Coordinate site logistics, deliveries, manpower, and subcontractor activities. Lead owner, architect, and subcontractor meetings. Ensure compliance with building codes, project specifications, and OSHA standards. Maintain daily reports, look-ahead schedules, and project documentation. Identify and resolve field issues to keep projects on schedule and budget. Manage punch-list completion and project closeout activities. The Successful Applicant A successful Ground Up Superintendent | New Britain, CT, should have: 5+ years of Superintendent experience with a general contractor. Ground-up construction experience required. Experience on commercial, multifamily, healthcare, education, industrial, or municipal projects. Strong understanding of sitework, structural systems, and construction sequencing. Ability to manage multiple trades in a fast-paced environment. OSHA 30 certification preferred. Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Experience on projects valued at $10M-$75M+ preferred. What's on Offer Permanent position. Salary of $120,000 to $150,000.
